For the past ten years, I've had the joy of teaching jewelry making. five of those years has been at The Institute Of Music For Children. Year after year, my students have shown up curious, creative, and excited to make something with their own two hands. Watching their confidence grow with every project has been one of the greatest gifts of my journey as a teaching artist.

This kit was inspired by my students. The ones who told me, "Ms. Sydney, I don’t want to leave your class, I want to keep creating."

To my students: I hear you. I see you.

Jewelry making is about so much more than creating something beautiful. It's about expressing yourself, thinking outside the box, building confidence, and discovering what you're capable of. Crafting has also been shown to help calm the nervous system, encouraging focus, mindfulness, and creative exploration.

I created this kit so the creativity doesn't have to end when camp does. My hope is that every bead, every project, and every new idea reminds you that your imagination is powerful and your creativity deserves to be celebrated.
